Karen Wins Carnival’s Greatest Group Hits Contest At Seattle Travel Trade Cruise-A-Thon! With “I Love Beach Music” playing from the ballroom speakers, Karen presented Totally Travel’s value-added concept model for group cruises to travel industry executives and travel agents at Travel Trade’s 25th Annual CRUISE-A-THON, held June 1-4, 2007 in Seattle. Karen was voted the winner from the four semi-finalists chosen from across the country by Carnival who won the trip to Seattle to present their “Greatest Group Hit” idea to travel agents and industry executives attending the conference. Agents voted on the originality, creativity, ease of implementation, and results of the concept. Maurice Zarmati, Carnival’s Vice-President of Sales, and Cherie Weinstein, Carnival’s Vice-President of Group Sales & Administration, presented Karen with an engraved plaque and a certificate for a Carnival cruise for two.
