We will have a variety of speakers and topics focusing on the 80th anniversary of Nancy Drew: the characters and treasured mysteries, collecting Nancy Drew books and memorabilia, and the secretive history behind Nancy Drew’s creators. We’ll be joined by speakers discussing the original Carolyn Keene, ghostwriter Mildred Wirt Benson and the Stratemeyer Syndicate that created Nancy Drew. Rounded out by several experts who will share their knowledge of collecting, reading and illustrating the Hardy Boys series.

Special Honorary Guests include: Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys classic book illustrator Rudy Nappi, Stratemeyer Syndicate partner Nancy S. Axelrad, Jennifer Fisher - Nancy Drew Sleuths President and Author of Clues for Real Life: The Classic Wit & Wisdom of Nancy Drew, and Carolyn Dyer - Univ. of IA professor and author of Rediscovering Nancy Drew.
